Mrs. Ryan

Week of  5-13-19

READING:
Over the last week, the students have read several tall tales. They have analyzed the elements that make up a tall tale, and are now ready to write their own! Students will have the opportunity to use their creativity, following the elements of tall tales we have learned, and write their own unique story.

SOCIAL STUDIES:
In Social Studies we are learning about the events leading up to the American Revolution. This week the students will learn about the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party.

ELA:
In ELA students have been given a list of topics for their final. Each day we are reviewing and practicing these topics. Review packets have been given out in which pages are assigned daily for homework.
