Welcome!
I am the coordinator for the 504 program within Long Beach Catholic and I am thrilled to be part of this important element of the education of our students.
My children attended Long Beach Catholic and I have always had a special place in my heart for this school! I have worked in the Diocese of Rockville Centre for many years, first as a self-contained teacher at Our Lady of Peace School in Lynbook (Grades 2 and 5). I returned "home" to Long Beach Catholic Regional School and have taught Social Studies to Grades 6, 7 and 8.
I attended Molloy College, where I received a BA in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology. I received a MS in Educational Technology from Long Island University and have received Permanent Certification as a teacher from the State of New York. I have also studied Catholic Educational Leadership at Fordham University.
When I'm not in school, I love heading to the beach (winter or summer...every day is a beach day for me), swimming, walking, reading, traveling...but my favorite way to spend my time is just being with my children and grandchildren!
I have so many memories from Long Beach Catholic and more are made each day. The most treasured memories that I have are the memories of the resilience and courage shown by our students during personal tragedies, after Hurricane Sandy or after 9/11.
They taught all of us...and they still do each and every day!
