Meet The Teacher

I am new to the faculty at Long Beach Catholic Regional School this 2018-2019 school year. My experience teaching Religion was at the secondary level where I developed curriculum and taught foundational courses in the Old Testament and Church History as well as New Testament Christology. I have also taught elective courses in Healing, Christian Service and Morality.

Inviting young people to take active roles in their faith formation is my passion, I seek to build community among the students and root their lives in the tradition of the Catholic Church. I have experience in Campus Ministry and look forward to offering new faith and liturgical experiences for the Middle School students and families. My undergraduate degree is in General Studies with a Minor in Theology and my Masters degree that I will be completing this Fall will be from St. John’s University in Pastoral Theology.  I am parishioner at St. Ignatius Martyr Church and am a volunteer catechists after the Sunday evening mass at 6 o'clock pm. I am thrilled to be joining the LBCRS family and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to teach Religion in the Middle School.
