What is #GivingTuesday?

About Giving Tuesday

#GivingTuesday is a movement, built by people around the world that brings communities together to support nonprofit organizations. This year it falls on Tuesday, November 29th, following two days of consumerism for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Giving Tuesday will inspire people to take action to improve their communities and give back in better, smarter ways to the organizations they love and help create a better world. We hope that you will consider making Long Beach Catholic Regional School part of your #GivingTuesday!

How to participate

You can participate in this national day of giving by sharing what you love about Long Beach Catholic Regional School on our Facebook page, and making a contribution to our school. Follow us on social media and post a photo of yourself in an #unselfie, sharing why you love LBCRS and why you support Catholic education.  Add the hashtag #GivingTuesday and #unselfie to be recognized by the national Giving Tuesday community - be sure to tag Long Beach Catholic on Facebook and #LBCRS.  Our Donate button will be placed on the #GivingTuesday webpage on Tuesday, November 29th.

Where your gift goes

All donations to Long Beach Catholic Regional School’s #GivingTuesday campaign will be allocated to the Alumni/Development Fund. The reach of each gift extends not only to the enhancement of the school but to children whose families value Catholic education.  Our campaign, this year will be allocated to Tuition Assistance and to Technology Advancement, including chrome books for the 4th and 5th grade.

You can win prizes!

Everyone who donates to LBCRS on #GivingTuesday will be entered into a drawing to win LBCRS School Spirit gear or Alumni Spirit gear.
