Welcome to an exciting new school year in 3rd grade! I am thrilled to have each and every one of you in our class. This year promises to be filled with discovery, learning, and fun. We'll embark on amazing adventures, dive deep into fascinating subjects, and learn more about ourselves and the world around us.
Third grade is a special year where we not only grow academically but also in our friendships, understanding, and character. We'll read enchanting stories, solve intriguing math problems, and explore the wonders of science and history together. And most importantly, we'll become a tight-knit classroom family, supporting and cheering each other on every step of the way.
Parents, I'm looking forward to partnering with you to make this year successful and memorable for your child. Your support and involvement are invaluable. Let's stay connected and work together to provide the best experience for our students.

Important Things to Know-HOMEWORK IS NOT OPTIONAL! Your child will be getting daily HW.
-Students are occasionally assigned homework from our Health, Computer, or R.E.A.D teachers in Google Classroom. While this is posted on the homework board each day, the student must log on and complete this by the due date (typically a week or more if given).
- Your child will need a HEALTHY morning snack every day! Some examples are yogurt, fruit, granola bars, pretzels, Goldfish, Cheerios, etc! They will also need to bring their own water bottle each day. This is because they can only drink water at snack time! This should be in a bottle with a sports top or pop-up straw (tops that screw off often make spills that we try to avoid!)

Keeping up with local news is important because we live in an ever-changing global world. Therefore, students should build the habit of using the internet, newspapers, and other credible media sources to stay updated with current events.
