Hello LBCRS Families!
My name is Antonette Ripp and I am the new Nursery teacher at Long Beach Catholic Regional School. Before coming to LBCRS, I was a teacher in the Brooklyn Diocese. I began my career at St. Aloysius School, teaching there for 6 years. After taking 4 years off to raise my children, I accepted a teaching position at St. Matthias Catholic Academy, where I remained for the past 15 years. I have taught Nursery, Pre-K, Kindergarten and First grade.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and a Master of Science degree in Education from Queens College. My NYS certification is in Early Childhood Education, Birth-2nd grade. I find teaching young children to be very rewarding and fulfilling, and am excited to be teaching at LBCRS!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time with my family. I am married and have two teenage boys that keep me busy. I look forward to working with the children at LBCRS and their families!
