Dear Families:August, 2022I hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer vacation! It is hard to believe in just about a months time we will begin the 2022-2023 school year!
This year the 4th and 5th Graders will be joined together in a departmentalized team with myself teaching Math, Science and Religion to both grades and Mr. Rosenblatt teaching Reading, ELA and Social Studies to both. Also new this year is the introduction of 1:1 devices (Chromebooks) for all students in 4th and 5th grade! These will only be used in school and cannot be brought home for any reason.
All supplies and summer assignments should be brought in the first week of school so that we can get our classroom, desks and lockers situated so that students can begin learning our daily routines.

Important Things To Know:
- An Amazon Classroom Wishlist link is now included under useful links. The items requested are ones that students frequently ask for and are used to enhance our learning and make our free time more exciting. We appreciate any contributions, but please do not feel obligated.
- Many of our exciting, engaging activities used in the classroom to extend student's learning come from a collaboration website that we use to purchase materials/files. As you can imagine the cost of this does add up over time. Under useful links, you will find a Class Fund link that explains more. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated!
