A Day in the Life of Nursery!
Happy Fall! Now that the children are happily adjusted, we were able to establish a routine! I wanted to send home a simple schedule to give you a quick glimpse at what a day in the life of Nursery entails. Every week we will go over a new Nursery Rhyme, letter, number, shape and color. Every Month we will have a new “theme”. This upcoming theme will be Fabulous Fall! I will also start to introduce our 5 senses. As the children begin to grow and develop a longer work stamina, we will adjust our schedule by adding higher order of thinking centers/sensory bins etc. I am loving every second of working with your children and I’m excited for this school year!
This week we will continue to begin to learn about Christmas, Advent and Jesus's family. Our letter of the week is L and our Nursery rhyme of is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. We will also start using scissors and begin counting the sides of shapes!
