I'm honored and excited to be teaching all of your children this year in Religion. We have so much to look forward to in Room 13! For one thing, we are blessed to have brand new curriculum from the Diocese of Rockville Centre which features loads of beautiful Church teaching. The content of these lessons, while taken entirely from Christ and our ancient Catholic Tradition, are formatted in a way which can address the spiritual needs hearts and minds today. We will dive deep into the essential questions of Religion, learn how to articulate exactly what it is that Catholics believe, and practice the art of speaking and listening to God through various forms of meaningul and personal prayer.
On a practical note, please make sure to catch my Weekly Parent Updates coming to your email inbox each Friday. Please look for a Flocknote notification, rather than my professional LBCRS email address. Each of these updates will feature photos of your children in class, curriculum highlights from the week past, and information about upcoming tests, projects and events.
