My name is Mrs. Nicole Isola. This year marks my 16th year at Long Beach Catholic Regional School and I am so excited to be returning to 1st Grade this year! I have also taught 7/8th grade ELA , Kindergarten, as well as 3rd grade. Prior to coming to LBCRS, I was a Teaching Assistant for the Long Beach Middle School as well as East and Lido Elementary Schools.
I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies focusing on History, Sociology and Economics from SUNY Stony Brook University. I have my Master of Arts degree in Childhood Education from CUNY Brooklyn College with an extension in Student with Disabilities. I have also received my license in Early Childhood Education from Touro College.
I have enjoyed teaching all levels of education as each child leaves a special mark on my heart. I will never forget my 3rd grade class throwing me my "Bridal Shower," or the smiles and excitement from my Kindergarteners when they are up on stage graduating and moving on to 1st grade. It is always a bitter sweet time to have to let them go, but it is a feeling of such joy to be able to have watched them grow!
In my spare time, I enjoy sitting on the beach, spending time with my family, and when the chance arises- to read! I am looking forward to a wonderful year in 1st Grade! love seeing all my former students in the hallways and even when they stop by just to say, "hi" :)
