My name is
Emily Petschauer and this is my second year teaching at LBCRS. I feel extremely thankful to be working here and can't wait to see what year two brings me. In 2016, I graduated from
Salisbury University where I received my Bachelor's in Psychology and Biology. I then spent two years at
St. John's University studying School Psychology and am now continuing my education at
Molloy College to receive my Masters.
A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT ME:
I attended and graduated from
Holy Trinity Diocesan High School. I currently work there as the Head Varsity Kickline Coach. You know what they say...
Once a Titan, Always a Titan! In July 2018 and 2019, I traveled to a small village in
Ghana, Africa called Senase to teach in the Semanhyiya American School. I was able to do this through an organization called
Threads for Education. The experience there was one that I will always remember and I cannot wait to return to the village of Senase in the future. When I am not teaching, you can find me listening to country music, playing with my dog, or painting a canvas!
