I am a Catholic School graduate and am happy to be teaching Spanish at LBCRS!
I received my B.A. from Hofstra University with a major in foreign languages and education. I then received a Master's Degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and a doctoral degree in Reading, Language and Cognition, Department of Literacy Studies, also from Hofstra University.
I have been teaching Spanish, French, and English to Spanish-speaking students for many years. I have co-taught many subjects in Spanish to English learners including Living Environment, Global 9 and Gloabl 10, and English Language Arts. I am currently an Adjunct Professor in a graduate program at Molloy College.
I am blessed to have traveled to many countries where Spanish (and French and Italian) is the native language. I am a surfer, a runner, and a published writer. I enjoy cooking Spanish (and Italian food)! If you like to cook, I invite you to share your recipes of Spanish foods with our class!
Vamos a aprender mucho en la clase de español este año!
